A video for the album's first single, "Ahead of the Game", has been released.
Gary Kemp, guitar player and vocalist for Nick Mason's Saucersful of Secrets, and guitarist, lyricist, and composer for Spandau Ballet, will release a new solo album, INSOLO, on June 18th.
Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets' Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd, David Gilmour) and Lee Harris (The Blockheads) make guest appearances on the album.
Lee Harris stated: "I am so happy to be on Gary’s new solo album - and with Guy too. I’ve been lucky enough to have heard the whole thing and I adore it. It’s out in a couple of months."
Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets will resume touring in 2022. Kemp recorded the project during the pandemic lockdown - one of many projects by 'Pink Floyd universe alumni' to flesh out during this phase. Other Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, and Roger Waters alumni that released new material include Jon Carin, Gerry Leonard, and Chester Kamen.
Kemp also collaborated with Guy Pratt on a podcast project titled Rockonteurs. Rockonteurs has featured interviews with Nick Mason, David Coverdale, Brian Johnson, John Taylor, and Jon Bon Jovi.
