Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt Launch New Podcast Series: The Rockonteurs

The new podcast by Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt will consist of a series of interviews with the "people that soundtracked their and our lives." The first episode features Saucerful of Secrets drummer Nick Mason.

According to a release from the podcast production team: "Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, and their legendary musician guests are ‘The Rockonteurs’ a new podcast created and produced by broadcaster Ben Jones for Want Some Media."

It is described as a "fascinating collection of anecdotes and stories from the music industry, Gary & Guy’s guests in the first series include Sir Bob Geldof, Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera, Trevor Horn, Chris Difford of Squeeze and their other Saucerful Of Secrets band mate, Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason."

The hosts promise to "draw the best out of their guests who without fail reveal stories that have hitherto been unheard."

The Rockonteurs is "available globally on Spotify, Apple and other streaming platforms, the series is already a hit series, going to No.2 in the podcast charts and has been receiving rave reviews across social media." Writing classic such as True, Gold, Through The Barricades and many more. He is also a renowned actor starring in The Krays with is brother Martin, The Bodyguard, the cult classic Killing Zoe and many more. He has most recently been seen in the West End working with acclaimed director Jamie Lloyd and in the hit BBC2 satire The Kemps All True again with his brother Martin. Gary is also a member of Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets and is working on a solo project for 2021. Guy Pratt is a bassist, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, comedian and actor. Guy who has worked with the likes of Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Madonna, Roxy Music, The Smiths, Michael Jackson, Iggy Pop, Tom Jones, Madonna, Bryan Ferry, Johnny Marr and many more.
